A family orientated careers service – a face to face session looking at career planning, further education and/or higher education options (dependent on the age of the person i.e. still at school or e.g.16+ based in the family home helping parents and teenagers together to make informed career decisions and plans regards post 16 opportunities and university choices in which to get into a type of career/s. This will consist of a face to face meeting up to one hour and will include a full report (sent after the meeting) exploring all available education, training and financial options appropriate to the son/daughter.
A questionnaire or phone call prior to the session will ascertain the focus wanted e.g. ‘I’ve no idea what career I want’, or ‘How do I become a doctor, what grades, universities etc. are important’?
Service Offered and Price
The service takes place in the comfort of your own home and provides a comprehensive diagnostic assessment report (minimum of 6-10 pages in length) offering in depth careers information and advice at a cost of only £45* per appointment (up to 1 hr). * This price is an introductory price held until January 2013 when it will rise to £60.
